Afriex is a digital wallet, that allows you to send spend and recieve money in 5 countries worldwide.  Or easily send money from a debit card to a bank account or other Afriex user.

Is Afriex Secure?

Yes it is, at Afriex we take the security of your personal information seriously. We encrypt all personal data, so your info is always safe. We are also PCI DSS Complainant, following The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. A strict set of security standards designed to ensure and maintain a secure environment.

How long does it take for bitcoin to arrive?

Where can I send money from/to with Afriex?

With Afriex App you can send money to and from Nigeria Ghana, Kenya, Canada, and USA.

How do I deposit money into my Afriex Wallet?

  • Click on the Wallet sign at the bottom of the app
  • Click 'ADD CASH'
  • Press the Nigerian flag in the top right corner to select the currency you will like to deposit
  • After you select the currency of your choice, enter the amount you want to deposit
  • Press 'ADD CASH'
  • If your card is already stored in the app, press CONFIRM. If you would like to add a new card press 'ADD CHARGE CARD/BANK' and input your information

  • Click the Nigerian flag at the top right of the page to select the currency of your choice
  • Type in the amount you want to send then press 'SEND'
  • Search for the user in the 'SEARCH BY $USERNAME' box
  • Input a comment where it says 'TYPE IN A COMMENT'
  • Confirm the transaction

How do I send money to a Nigerian bank account?

How do I send money to Ghana, Kenya or Uganda?

What are your fees and rates?

Afriex charges no fees saving you money each time you complete a transaction! Our rates are on the main page of our app.

How much money can I send?

You can send up to a maximum of 3000USD/ per day.

Can I increase my daily limit?

We are not currently increasing limits at this time.

What Payment Methods do you accept?

At this time Afriex only accept debit cards. We do not not accept Credit, Prepaid Cards, or Paypal.  

BVN Code

When you enter your BVN we send a text message to the phone number that you registered your BVN with. Please note, you must have access to that number to verify your BVN.

Login Issues

We just released a new version of the app a few days ago. Please make sure you have the newest version of the app by uninstalling the app and re-installing from your app store.

Can't send to other Afriex users?

The send to user capability is currently on maintenance and will be re-enabled soon. We will send out an email once it is back up and running.

How do I know my funds are delivered?

You will receive an email notifying you when your funds are delivered.

Can I sign in with an email that is not Gmail

How do I reset my password?

If you signed in with Google, tap the 'Sign in with gmail' button when signing in and select the google account that you created your account with. 
If you signed up with another email address, click 'Already have an account? Log in', then click on 'FORGOT PASSWORD' to recover your password.

How to reset my PIN?

If you enter the wrong pin three times, the app will display the message 'You have exceeded your allowed number of attempts," and it will log you out. To reset your PIN log in again to create a new pin.

How do I add a new card?

To add a new card visit the profile page and click '+PAYMENT METHOD' to add a new card

How do I process a refund?

How do I cancel a transaction?

If the funds have not been transferred to the recipient's account, you can call or email us to begin processing your refund. Once the transfer is delivered, no refund or cancellation is possible.
